Political Correctness: Using the Herd to Silence Free Speech

“Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a nation must begin by subduing the freeness of speech.”—Benjamin Franklin

It is no secret that there is an established, successful movement in this nation aimed at destroying our Bill of Rights; and our entire Constitution if the movement is successful. The vehicle in which these treasonous, leeches travel in is called Political Correctness, and it has all but killed our 1st Amendment in America.

How many times in a week do you hear the term, “that’s not politically correct?” If you work in a location with numerous employees, you probably hear it a lot. Although people who use the term likely do so harmlessly, what they are essentially doing is aiding the aforementioned movement to keep us quiet by ways of the herd mentality; who would like nothing more than to either kill us or put us in chains, but that’s a topic for another article. If you can gauge the success of a movement by the numbers of people who participate, the “political correct” crowd have hit numerous home runs against an unwitting populace.

When you look back at history, some of its greatest and most influential leaders were not politically correct.

– Martin Luther King
– Gandhi
– Malcom X
– Every Founding Father

And I could go on and on… These men, all great in their own right, refused to let the chains of political correctness bind their most prized asset, their voice.

So, to battle these cretins there is little else we can do except speak our mind and “damn the consequences.” If you wake up one day and your 1st Amendment has been abolished, your death or imprisonment will soon follow. It’s that serious. So serious, that I will close with one of my favorite quotes; a quote which illustrates what happens when political correctness wins the day.

“They came first for the Communists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn’t speak up because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant. And then they came for me and by that time no one was left to speak up.”
Rev. Martin Niemoeller, a Protestant minister in Nazi Germany, in 1945; from “Political Quotations”, Daniel B. Baker, ed.
